"Holiday at The Park" to Feature Festive Shopping and Culinary Experiences
LAS VEGAS (November 16, 2017) – It’s the most wonderful time of the year and the Las Vegas Strip is set to celebrate the season in style.
“Holiday at The Park,” an immersive holiday experience featuring ice skating, shopping and attractions, will take over The Park and Toshiba Plaza beginning Thursday, Nov. 30.
Complimentary parking for the November 30 event will be available at the self-park garages at New York-New York and Monte Carlo for guests arriving between 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Throughout the holiday season, as soon as guests step through the ornament arches at the entrance to The Park, they will be transported into a wonderful world that is merry and bright. The Park will be illuminated with twinkling holiday lights while strolling carolers sing holiday favorites. Guests can stroll through a quaint holiday marketplace presented in association with Millennial Entertainment Group, where a variety of vendors will sell their wares, perfect for grabbing a unique holiday gift.
With an 80-foot Silver Fir tree as its centerpiece, “Holiday at The Park” will offer fun for guests of all ages. The heart of the experience, Toshiba Plaza, will be transformed into a winter wonderland, filled with festive activities including screenings of beloved holiday movies each week, a place for children to share their wishes with their favorite bearded buddy, and more.
“This holiday season, more than ever, we know Las Vegas residents and visiting guests want to feel connected, and we hope ‘Holiday at The Park’ will bring a real sense of joy to our community,” said Anthony Olheiser, executive director of The Park. “We’re excited to create this magical wonderland on The Strip, and we’re looking forward to welcoming families from around the world into a cheerful, charming holiday destination.”
“Holiday at The Park” will be open daily November 30, 2017 – January 7, 2018. Admission is free. Additional details, event hours and specifics will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
