We love the amazing Mayan archeological site in Tulum, Mexico. Tulum is the only Mayan city built on a coast and had major historical importance as a trading center for turquoise and jade. It is a must-see destination.
When we were told that Shannon Smith and Diane Buchanan had opened a clothing optional condo rental in Tulum, we asked them to tell us more.
How would you describe your property in one sentence?
We offer luxury condos in a nude friendly, tropical paradise located in magical Tulum, Mexico.
What is special about your nudist / naturist property and your guests?
We are lucky to be located in an area that is warm and sunny year-round. The grounds are beautiful, and our guests love to lounge at the pool and enjoy the dense tropical vegetation.
But because of our location in the Riviera Maya, it is a great destination to enjoy the Mayan cultural and historic sites, as well as its famous beaches, reef, and cenotes. Downtown Tulum is a funky, bohemian place with lots of restaurants, bars and shopping, with travellers from all over the world.
So we find that out nudist guests are adventurous, friendly people who enjoy the nudist lifestyle as well the opportunity to experience this amazing part of the world.

We are lucky to be located in an area that is warm and sunny year-round. The grounds are beautiful, and our guests love to lounge at the pool and enjoy the dense tropical vegetation.
But because of our location in the Riviera Maya, it is a great destination to enjoy the Mayan cultural and historic sites, as well as its famous beaches, reef, and cenotes. Downtown Tulum is a funky, bohemian place with lots of restaurants, bars and shopping, with travellers from all over the world.

What accommodations are available at your nudist / naturist property?
We have two condos, each with one bedroom, en suite bath, full kitchen, dining and living room, and private balconies with Jacuzzis in the tropical treetops . The condos are well equipped with everything our guests need to prepare their own meals, but there is also a restaurant and swim up bar on site. The condos are beautifully furnished and feature marble flooring.
The pool is amazing, with meandering channels weaving through the tropical gardens. There are plenty of loungers offering both sun and shade. There is also a large hot tub that is a favorite place to gather during happy hour.
The walled complex is very private and secure. We are walking distance to downtown Tulum with lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping, and a short drive to Tulum' s world famous beaches.
What activities and special events are available at your nudist / naturist property?
Our setting is perfect for relaxing, enjoying the peace and tranquility of such a beautiful, natural space. Swimming, floating, lounging by the pool are favorite pastimes.
A good game of water volleyball is a great way to get energized and meet other guests. Yoga and exercise classes, and water aerobics are often planned.
We have great resources for planning individual and group excursions to all the incredible sites in the Riviera Maya within an hour of the complex.
Snorkeling, scuba diving, cave diving, and enjoying the sugary beaches of the Caribbean Sea are favorites.
The cultural day trips to a Spanish colonial city include stops at the Mayan ruins of Coba and Chichen Itza.
The Mayan ruins in Tulum are famous for being the only ruins with an ocean view. Only in the Yucatan can you find incredible cenotes.
Great restaurants and shopping in funky downtown Tulum is a short walk away.
Why is nudism / naturism an important and healthy choice?
The most beneficial effect of nudism is the immense source of self-esteem and body acceptance that comes from freeing oneself of society's standards, prejudices, and expectations.
