We met Philippe Mottier and Rick Brannon online in a page for LGBTQ professionals. We were delighted to hear about their bed and breakfast in Normandy, France. We asked them to tell us more.
How would you describe Chez Rick & Phil B&B in one sentence?
Centrally located in Normandy France, in a quaint little village 45 minutes south of Caen, our B & B is a short distance from a multitude of tourist destinations such as Mont Saint-Michel, the D-Day beaches, Bayeux, Villedieu, Saint-Lô, the Christian Dior Museum and many others regional treasures and offers two beautiful guest rooms fitted with 18th and 19th century furniture
What is special about Chez Rick & Phil B&B and your guests?
We take hospitality very seriously as all our reviews demonstrate.
We greet our guests with warmth, simplicity and respect. We serve breakfast in the dining room from fresh and local products. We also offer regional dinners and cocktail-appetizers if our clients prefer staying in after a long day visiting our region.
Our ideal customer likes to be well taking off. We have welcomed tourists from all over the EU and the US as well as wedding parties and fox doing business in the area.
What accommodations are available at Chez Rick & Phil B&B?
We offer two guestrooms sharing a bathroom:
* The Normandy Room is furnished with a mid-18 century armoire, a queen size bed, a sitting area with two armchairs, original paintings. In addition to the bathroom linen, we offer matching bathrobes.
* The Blue room is rustic with a double bed, antique dresser.
* Both rooms have beautiful country views, updated tourist info, clothes valet, filtered cool water.
What activities and special events are available at Chez Rick & Phil B&B?
Starting January, we will offer massages and free local cooking classes. Once a month, we organize a dinner drag show at the local restaurant.
