Each year, Labor Day weekend in New Orleans is filled with a host of parties, parades, brunches and events in celebration of the city’s gay community. For over four decades, this French Quarter-wide fest has been the perfect way to close out summertime in the Crescent City. Participate in this year’s Southern Decadence August 29 - September 2.
Southern Decadence Events Attend one or catch them all - Southern Decadence 2019 is five days filled with can’t-miss events throughout the city.
Friday, Aug. 30
Southern Decadence Happy Hour - 4-6 p.m.
Brennan’s is hosting a bubbly happy hour to kick off Decadence weekend. Enjoy discounted champagne and cocktails, special appearances by Drag Queens Coca Mesa, Lana O’Day NOLA & Debbie with a D, an Elektra Cosmetics Glitter Buffet and much more.
Backstreet Boys: DNA World Tour - 8-11 p.m.
Not an official Decadence event, but certainly good timing. Don’t miss the Backstreet Boys: DNA World Tour with special guest Baylee Littrell

One of the largest gay dance parties in the U.S is making a stop at Southern Decadence. Jam the night away at One Eyed Jacks with special guest DJ, BEEFMINE, coming all the way from London. Tickets are on sale now.
Saturday, Aug. 3
Randy Rainbow Live - 6-9 p.m.
The Fillmoreis hosting a live recording of Randy Rainbow. Don’t miss the hilarious and politically-focused spoofs and interviews, plus a number of witty and fun tunes.
Sunday, Sept. 1
Drag Diva Brunch - 10:30 a.m.- 12 p.m.
What’s a Southern Decadence Sunday without a drag brunch? Make your way back to the Fillmore for a buffet-style brunch and drag show. This year’s theme: Disco Decadence! For the menu and tickets, visit >here.

The annual decadence parade is free and open to all, and exploring New Orleans’ French Quarter during Decadence Weekend is fun in and of itself, and always free of charge.
Certain events such as brunches, parties, and more come at various fees and admissions. Stay up to date on the different Decadence events and pricing.
