Las Vegas Grows More Fabulous with LGBTQ+ Events and Celebrations

Empower
Las Vegas PRIDE returns with an exciting weekend of events and entertainment that celebrate the diversity and pride within the Las Vegas LGBT community, Oct. 11-12. Events include the annual night PRIDE Parade, Oct. 11, in fabulous Downtown Las Vegas as well as the PRIDE Festival, Oct. 12.
Golden Rainbow will partner with local restaurants across the valley for the fourth annual “Dining Out For Life,” July 23. Held across the nation each year, the campaign raises funds for local HIV/AIDS service organizations. In Southern Nevada, Golden Rainbow is the sole beneficiary of these funds with proceeds going to benefit critically needed services for those affected by the disease MGM Resorts International launched Universal Love, a collection of reimagined wedding songs for the LGBTQ community. Featuring songs by Bob Dylan and St. Vincent among other artists, the album celebrates the enduring and overwhelming power of love and music to unite humanity. Universal Love provides same-sex couples a soundtrack for their love stories and is available on all streaming platforms.
Embrace
As the first and largest multi-fandom event for LGBTQ women and allies, ClexaCon will return to Las Vegas, April 11-15 at Tropicana Las Vegas. ClexaCon empowers content creators to distribute celebrate positive representation for LGBTQ women in the media.
The 13th Annual Sin City Soirée will return to the destination May 13 – 19 at Bally’s Las Vegas. Each year WildSide brings this signature event to the glitz & glamour capital of the world. The Soirée has grown from a small gathering of friends into one of the preeminent trans happenings of the year, bringing more than 300 transgender women and men from around the world to Las Vegas for a week of activities including pool parties, shopping, sightseeing, dinners and evenings out on the town. Last year the event welcomed guests from six continents.
Golden Rainbow’s 33rd Annual Ribbon of Life returns to Tropicana Las Vegas June 23. This year’s production will honor the 50th anniversary of Woodstock with numbers inspired from the iconic music festival. Ribbon of Life is an original talent showcase unlike any other in Las Vegas, featuring custom production numbers from the Las Vegas Strip’s best singers, dancers and performers.
Celebrating gay men of all shapes and sizes, Bigger Vegas is going big at Tuscany Suites and Casino, July 2-8. A week filled with exciting activities, exclusive excursions, informative seminars, outrageous parties, Bigger Vegas is the largest event celebrating a vibrant sub-culture of the gay community and are expecting over 1,500 guests this year.
The Nevada Gay Rodeo Association trots into Las Vegas for the Big Horn Rodeo, Sept. 20-22. Spectators will be jumping in their boots as they enjoy a multitude of events from bull riding and roping to barrel racing during the annual three-day event held at Horseman’s Park.
Leaders in LGBTQ research, Community Marketing & Insights will host their 20th LGBTQ Tourism Summit at Vdara Las Vegas, Nov. 3-5. This annual conference brings together leading industry professionals to share learnings about the LGBTQ market through a variety of feature presentations, panels and workshops.
Entertain
Luxor Hotel and Casino continues to make Sunday the hottest day of the week with Temptation Sundays, beginning May 12. The original, longest-running gay pool party in Las Vegas returns for its tenth season with weekly parties through September 29. This sexy poolside party features amazing DJs spinning the summer’s hottest soundtracks, specialty drinks and nonstop fun in the sun.
Queens of the scene take guests on a wild ride as they dine at Señor Frog’s Drag Brunch. Drag queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race, Shangela, Coco Montrese and Yara Sofia slay the stage, as revelers can brunch it up with a delicious buffet and an open bar.
The beloved restaurant and hangout, Hamburger Mary’s, has returned to Las Vegas with their specialty, a side of sass. Guests can dine on elevated pub food at the classy-kitsch joint, which also features a bar, dining area and an outside patio. The LGBT-friendly burger joint doubles as a nightclub, including drag shows, charity bingo, cabaret theater events, trivia and much more.
The Garage, located a few miles off the Strip, is a hot spot for locals and visitors alike. Modeled after an auto-body shop, the bar features pool tables, shuffleboard and darts, in addition to their drink specials and mouth-watering menu.
Minutes from Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, FreeZone Nightclub and Bar pairs a casual atmosphere with upbeat music and nightly karaoke. Featuring food, pool tables and occasional drag shows, it is a solid spot to catch up with friends or let loose on the dance floor.
Serving up unforgettable parties seven nights a week, Piranha Nightclub is the ultimate late-night location for LGBT revelers. From international DJs to world famous drag queens, the entertainment is top-notch and draws a lively, diverse crowd. Depending on the occasion, guests can enjoy a cocktail at one of the many bars or dance the night away on Piranha’s state-of-the-art dance floors among sexy go-go dancers.
