Carpe Diem Guesthouse and Spa - One of Provincetown's finest boutique guesthouses with a unique clothing optional spa

Provincetown, Massachusetts is a special place. Just 120 miles from Boston on a gorgeous National Seashore on the outermost tip of Cape Cod, pilgrims, artists, outcasts and LGBTQ people found their home and created a world famous travel destination and icon of diversity.
One of Provincetown's finest boutique guesthouses with a unique clothing optional spa is Carpe Diem Guesthouse and Spa.
We asked Stephen Hooper and Paul Graves there to tell us more.
How would you describe Carpe Diem Guesthouse & Spa in one sentence?
Carpe Diem Guesthouse and Spa is one of Provincetown's finest boutique guesthouses, which is open year round, with a unique on-site clothing optional spa offering a wide variety of services.
What is special about Carpe Diem Guesthouse & Spa and your guests?
Carpe Diem consists of three buildings surrounding a hidden Zen garden which is a peaceful area to relax and unwind, close to but off of Commercial Street. Our guests are an eclectic mix depending on the time of year, and come from every corner of the world.
Our on-site Namaste Spa is open to our guests to use free of charge during their stay, offering an outdoor hot tub, two dry saunas, and a large Moroccan style hamam steam room as well as an outdoor sunbathing area.
Within the spa gates Namaste Spa is clothing optional, depending on the preferences of the guest. Namaste Spa also offers a wide variety of massage and skin treatments to enjoy during your stay.
Carpe Diem offers extensive breakfast options, with a small buffet, eggs to order, and a hot special every day.
In the evenings we offer a wine and cheese hour with a selection of hors d'oeuvres, a variety of wines, and a great opportunity to meet and connect with other guests.
Both breakfast and the wine and cheese hour are included in your stay.
What accommodations are available at Carpe Diem Guesthouse & Spa?
We offer a variety of accommodations at Carpe Diem, ranging from a stand alone cottage with a private garden, rooms with fireplaces, king rooms, to standard queen rooms and a small full sized room.
All rooms are recently renovated, each with a unique but unified feel, in classic colors and with luxurious, imported bedding from Asian countries.
We fuse a twist of East meets West, reflecting the nautical heritage of Provincetown. And of course, all of our rooms come with private en-suite bathrooms.
What activities and special events are available at Carpe Diem Guesthouse & Spa?
As a year-round destination, Carpe Diem offers a number of special events in the year.
The Holly Folly Weekend Inn Walk in December, our Annual Carnival Party in August, and of course we have guests attending for big events.
We have guests enjoy the Fourth of July, Bear Week with special spa offerings such as group treatments in our hamam steam room, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas/New Years.
Our daily Wine & Cheese in the early evening mixes our guests together and has frequently created lifelong friendships, and our breakfast times are usually lively and conversational.
Why are gay resorts important?
Provincetown is the number one gay vacation destination in the United States. As a gay-owned and operated inn we participate in that celebration of gay life. We welcome guests of all ages, genders, orientations and interests but are proud of our participation in creating that gay life that makes Provincetown so special.
