How many times can we say it? We love Provincetown! This icon of diversity, tolerance and equality is just 120 miles from Boston on a gorgeous National Seashore on the outer most tip of Cape Cod. We highly recommend Provincetown as a year-round LGBTQ destination. It has a fascinating history, incredible beaches, natural beauty, whale watching, an eclectic arts and culture scene and world-class dining and shopping.

We highly recommend Provincetown as a year-round LGBTQ destination. It has a fascinating history, incredible beaches, natural beauty, whale watching, an eclectic arts and culture scene and world-class dining and shopping.
If you are searching for the perfect Spring 2016 destination, here are some of Ptown's signature spring events and celebrations:
- March 17: St. Patrick's Day - Head to Provincetown for St. Patrick's Day and don your shamrocks, best kilt or leprechaun consume, sip your favorite stout, ale or lager and dance to music at one of Ptown's quaint pubs.
- March 17-20: Out of Hibernation Weekend - Join Bears and their Gay admirers at a series of events to welcome spring.
- March 25-27: Easter Weekend - Escape for a spring break in late March and watch an Easter sunrise across Cape Cod Bay cuddled up with a loved one or spend time beach combing with friends for a sunset at Race Point Beach.
- April 16-17: Miss Gay Mass US of A - The culmination of the Pageant Weekend has arrived. See who will wear the Crowns for 2016 and represent Massachusetts and New England in the National Pageant held in Dallas, Texas, in May.
- April 22-24: Gays for Patsy's Spring Stomp - Gays for Patsy is the place for LGBTQs to get together to socialize, two-step, line dance, east and west coast swing, waltz and more to contemporary country, pop and R&B in a supportive environment for more than 25 years.
- May 7: Run to the Top of the Pilgrim Monument - The Run is a microchip timed run to the top of the Pilgrim Monument to benefit the Cape Cod Firefighter/EMS Cancer Relief Fund.
- May 8: Mother's Day - Ptown is for Moms who will enjoy free admission at the Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum and Provincetown Art Association and Museum
- May 13-14: Outer Cape Chorale Concert - Join the Outer Cape Chorale for its May 2016 concert at Provincetown Town Hall.
- May 13-14: Ragnar Relay Race - Finish the overnight relay race running through Provincetown, amid its charming architecture and unique landscape.
- May 20-22: Single Women's Weekend - Find that special someone at one of the many events through the weekend. Take a holiday from your usual haunts.
- May 20-22: Monumental Yard Sale Weekend - Shop the best sales up and down Commercial Street and at residences all over town.
- May 21: Provincetown Business Guild Spring Show - the charity event presents "POP!" - a tribute to the music of Michael Jackson & Madonna.
- May 29: Annual Piano and Organ Celebration Concert - Always a favorite with memorable music at the Unitarian Universalist Meeting House of Provincetown.
